"I've Been Loving You Too Long" (originally "I've Been Loving You Too Long (To Stop Now)") is a soul music ballad written by Otis Redding and Jerry Butler. Considered by music critics and writers to be one of Redding's finest performances and a soul classic, it is a slow, emotional piece with Redding's pleading vocals backed by producer Steve Cropper's arpeggiated guitar parts and a horn elolonrearede.crimosinlfutabunoutropewacera.co: Soul.

The result was Got Live If You Want It!, which was intended to be recorded at a concert at Royal Albert Hall on September 23, , the Stones' first live appearance in England in over a year. The problem was, as was memorably stated by a writer in Rolling Stone magazine a few years later, the Stones in those days didn't play concerts -- they played riots, and that was precisely what happened.

The Rolling Stones made a cover version of "I've Been Loving You Too Long" for their live album "Got Live If You Want It!" (). Another notable cover was made by Ike & Tina Turner in , and their performance can be seen in the concert film "Gimme Shelter" about the last days of The Rolling Stones' US tour.

Got Live If You Want It! is an album of mostly live recordings by the English rock band the Rolling elolonrearede.crimosinlfutabunoutropewacera.co was released on 3 December by London Records in the United States. With its release, the label attempted to fill a marketing gap between the Stones' studio albums and capitalise on their popularity in the US market, which was heightened that year by a notoriously successful North.

Feb 20,  · This album is so bad it's laughable. Very doubtful that the Stones had anything to do with this mess. I place the blame on London Records. The Stones were a hot property at the time and this is an attempt to milk the group for everything they had (and didn't have)/5.
